Spoke too soon

I nearly ran into the arms of the FedEx delivery drivedr when she brought the package I had been waiting for all day. My fears that it might not arrive that day had finally been squashed. Replacing a freehub is something I had never done so I was pretty careful in taking the old one off. Long story short (since I really don't want to relive it), the freehub didn't fit. My hub is an M-770, and I think they sent me one for an M-756 (the previous year's model). The guy at the shop felt terrible. It gets worse. There is no overnight delivery for Saturdays out here. The soonest it can be here is Monday morning. So, we wait.

Since I suddenly have lots of free time, I put together a revised schedule. The numbers after the towns are the miles from the last town. The miles in the parenthesis are the predicted mileage per day

  1. I just realized the irony of this post's title. "Spoke" too soon...get it, like spokes in a bike wheel. Hope you got back on the road!
